Boycott Sudocrem
Sudocrem is produced by the Israeli pharmaceutical company Teva.
Teva is the world’s largest generic drug manufacturer - and a proud supporter of the Israeli regime.
Teva provides financial and medical support to Israeli forces.
Teva benefits significantly from difficult economic and political conditions in the Palestinian territories. (Source: Who profits Research Center)
Teva is on the BDS (Boycott, Divest and Sanction) list. Every pound spent on Teva fuels occupation, displacement, the destruction of Palestinian lives and genocide.
You can read more about Teva’s complicity in the occupation and the genocide in this article published by the Canary.
As the genocide continues to escalate, remember that your choices matter. Ethical alternatives exist. Choose justice, not complicity.
Alternatives
Organic babies - nappy cream
Childs Farm - nappy cream
Drapolene
Akamuti - nappy balm
Weleda
For over the counter medication, look for own brand products eg. Asda, Aldi, Superdrug, Boots.
Is your child’s nursery using Sudocrem? Ask them to change product
Ask your child’s nursery if they use Sudocrem.
If they use Sudocrem, here is what you can do:
Tell them that Sudocrem is produced by an Israeli company and why it needs to be boycotted
Send them this letter (link coming soon)
Ask them to use a different product on your child
Most nurseries order their hygiene and health products from wholesale suppliers. If you can find out the supplier, let us know so we can contact them to divest from Teva
